Charles Town Baptist Church believes that caring for others through discipleship and mission work is incredibly important. Our teens are learning the many ways that you can help the people in your community, and share the love of God!

Caleb taught our Sunday school lesson, and it was amazing to see him share the word of God with his peers, including fun games that wrapped up the lesson beautifully!

Our Youth Group had a booth at the recent Missions Fair at Charles Town Baptist Church, where we were able to share some of the stories from our recent mission projects and activities from the past year.

Our Youth Group went to each school that our kids attend and prayed for the students and staff, praying for a great school year!
2023 Mission Projects
During Summer Camp 2023 our kids helped to put in a porch railing for a lovely lady at our church so that she would be more comfortable going up and down the stairs at her house.
They got a little silly while helping gather logs and sticks from a rotting tree that we helped take down. (The adults did the chainsaw work don't worry!)
The teenagers also helped clean up debris from a storm, an untamed yard, and some unsafe walkways for one of the elderly ladies at our church.
The teens participate in "See you at the pole" each year, where teenagers and families gather at schools before the school year begins to pray for the coming year and all of the students attending. Our teens are always eager to visit their schools, and pray for their friends and teachers.
Our youth hosted a back to school carnival for the kids at our church and in the community. They played games, gave out snacks and prizes and had a face painting table.
Our youth group hosts a senior lunch and game day where the teens serve lunch and then play games and do fun activities with the seniors in our church. Here, they are building a structure out of marshmallows!
